Nellie's Nest Cage-Free Eggs

The Story of Nellie

My first pet was a brown hen named Nellie. She was the family pet really. Sure, we had the usual dog and cat, and even three horses, but I took to Nellie over the others, and Nellie took to riding around with me on my first bike. Where ever I played in our yard, Nellie was always busy nearby, and almost every morning we would find an egg in the straw nest she made for herself.

We have a few more hens now, but even on the farm they can became a little like our pet Nellie. We feed our hens only the best corn and grain from our friend Les Morrison's feed mill, and we are very proud of the great tasting eggs they lay. Our hens are also allowed to roam and scratch in the coop as they please. With natural flax seed added to their diet, our hens lay eggs rich in healthy Omega 3 fatty acids.

We hope that you enjoy Nellie's Nest Cage-Free Eggs, and as a family farm we promise to keep our hens healthy, happy, and of course, busy laying the best eggs possible.

Nellie would like to invite you to send in your own chicken stories and anecdotes to us at jesse@nellienest.com for us to share with our customers.
